Just been to Old Navy yesterday, was about to buy some jackets when a salesman told me that they will be on sale up to 50% off this coming Friday.

I hope its true! There's no mention of that sale on the site so I'm kind of doubting it... I'll keep my fingers crossed in the mean time

The 50% off sale on outerwear is legit and lasts until 11/12. I just placed an order and got free shipping (for purchase over $50) with this code - ONSHIP50. Does not require an Old Navy card, but expires 11/8/09. Thanks OP!

I know, but you can use a 25% off coupon to bring it down to 40% discount. I think there's still more at oldnavyweekly.com

I would assume everyone would wait till 11/12 to use the 30% code as well.

I believe the quality are somewhat similar to Gap. Some shirts I bought from Old Navy are almost exactly the same as the one from gaps. If you compare the blazers between Old Navy and gap, they have one style which is almost the same in different color.
