WalMart's customer service sucks lately... Bought 2 $3 fan switchs at WM, it fried my $200 fan. Tried to return both the melted one and the brand new one, they said no receipt no return. Showed them their online policy which says "unlike other stores, we accept return without a receipt etc.." and still miracle didn't happen. Went to 2 more WM, same thing.
so... i find myself going to target much more often

I have similar experience at WalMart. Their return/exchange policy is hanging up at the wall right next to them, and they pretend it doesn't exist.
I end up driving miles and miles to another store, and luckily the lady there let me return.
